Septic Risers and Replacement Lids
A riser brings your tank access up from wherever it is buried to ground level, finished with a lid you can lift. It is a small piece of plastic that quietly saves money on every future visit, because nobody is paid to dig first.
It also means the tank actually gets inspected. Access that takes half an hour of digging tends to get skipped.
Why a buried lid costs you
Digging is time, and time is on the invoice. More than that, a buried second lid often never gets opened at all, so half the tank goes unchecked for years.
Once a riser is in, a pump-out is a lid, a hose and an hour.
Replacing a failing lid
Old concrete lids crack and eventually give way, and a septic lid that gives way is genuinely dangerous, particularly in a yard with children or pets. A cracked lid is not a job to put off until next year.
