Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Cobra Septic ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of our septic services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and whatever details you include when you contact us through the form on this site, by phone, by email, or by text.
- Automatically, as you browse: standard web server and security logs kept by our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We also read the approximate region your IP address is in for one purpose only: deciding whether to show you the cookie consent banner described below.
How We Use Your Information
- To answer your questions, quote work, and schedule and perform septic services.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet our legal, tax, and permitting obligations.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as long as the law requires.
Cookies and Tracking
This website runs no analytics service, no advertising pixels, and no third-party embeds. It sets only strictly necessary cookies, such as remembering your choice if you use the cookie banner. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.
If we later add analytics or advertising technology, it will be blocked until you opt in for visitors in California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, Illinois, and Michigan, through a consent banner. At that point a "Cookie preferences" link appears in the footer of every page, so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Until then there is nothing to consent to, so we do not show you a banner.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business: our website host, the email delivery service that carries contact form submissions to our inbox, and the phone and text messaging providers we use to reach you. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Florida Residents
Cobra Septic is based in Florida and most of the people who use this site are in Florida. Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and Florida's wiretap statute (Fla. Stat. § 934.03), tracking that reads what you do on a page is treated as something you agree to rather than something that simply happens. That is why the consent banner appears here and not only for out-of-state visitors, and why nothing that is gated behind it runs until you accept it.
Two consequences worth stating plainly. If you call us, the call may be recorded and you will hear a notice before you are connected, because Florida requires everyone on the call to know. And if you decline the consent banner, the site still works: nothing behind it is required to read a page, get a price, or reach us.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know or access the personal information we have collected about you, to have it deleted, to have inaccurate information corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so we do not respond to it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: where your browser sends one, we treat it as an instruction to keep non-essential cookies and trackers off for that browser.
Children's Privacy
This website is meant for adults arranging septic service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
