What drives the design
Bedroom count sets the required capacity, not square footage. Soil percolation and seasonal high water table decide the field size and how high it sits.

Replacing an old system
Replacement is common on older South Florida properties, particularly where a house has been extended and the original system was sized for a smaller home.
